Further to our recent correspondence I have pleasure in confirming the safe arrival of the cruise luggage tags which look ideal for our purposes. What prompted me to search for such a product was an experience we had recently when embarking on a cruise in Southampton.Due to living in the Isle of Man we had to hotel in Southampton on the eve of the cruise. The next morning prior to travelling to the cruise terminal we had to attach the paper luggage labels received from the operator by borrowing a stapler to fix them around the luggage handles. On arrival at the cruise terminal it was raining heavily as we passed the luggage to the waiting porters. When our luggage arrived at our cabin one of the cases was completely devoid of its luggage label which we were informed had become wet, turned to pulp and completely disintegrated.Only for the fact we had additional identification on the case it is difficult to know what may have happened to it.
I have since written to the operator in the hope it may review its policy in respect of the type of labels it provides but in the meantime look forward to having the peace of mind that your luggage tags I am sure will provide when we hopefully cruise again next year.
I hope this is of some help,
Kind regards,
Peter.
